About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead an exploratory initiative in the Kalyani Devi area of Prayagraj (Allahabad) to understand the elder care needs of underprivileged people in and around the area. This role involves assessing what services and facilities currently exist, identifying gaps, and recommending possible solutions to improve the lives of elders in vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct a needs assessment for elder care among underprivileged communities in and around the Kalyani Devi area.

 Map existing elder care facilities, services, and resources available locally.

 Identify gaps, challenges, and unmet needs in providing quality elder care.

 Engage with elders, families, local organizations, and healthcare providers.

 Provide regular updates and reports to the project sponsor.

 Develop a recommendation plan for future elder care initiatives based on findings.

Qualifications

 Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent required.

 Prior experience in social sector programs, health, or elder care is a must.

 Strong ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-starter.

 Must be mobile and comfortable with field visits in the local area.

 Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

 Fluency in Hindi (local language) and working knowledge of English.
