Job Description

Job Brief: Data Engineering PM

Overview

mid to senior level

Responsibilities

Oversee entire Data Management support function
Responsible for Strategy, Planning, Resourcing, stakeholder management
Point of contact for Escalations, Cross-functional coordination
Client relationship management, Shift Management and escalation handling
Works with Architecture Teams
Technical discussion with cross function teams
Technical leadership, guide and suggest best practices
Proactive issue resolving

Requirements and Experience

Technical expertise in AWS Data Services, Python, Scala, SQL
Manage Data pipelines maintenance, Resolve Production issues/ tickets
Data pipelines Monitoring & Alerting
Strong knowledge of, or ability to rapidly adopt our core languages for data engineering
Python
,
SQL and Terraform
.
Knowledge of analytics platforms like
Snowflake,
data transformation tools like
dbt, scala, AWS lambda, Fivetran
.
A good understanding of CI/CD and experience with one of the CI/CD tools –
Azure DevOps
,
GitHub,
GitLab or Jenkins.
Sufficient familiarity with SQL Server, SSIS and SSAS to facilitate understanding of the current system.
Strong Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM framework

Location and Duration

The location will be offshore (India) primarily Bangalore OR Pune locations.
