Project Manager (Data Center)

As a seasoned Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in IT, including 3+ years specifically in Data Center and Disaster Recovery projects, you will play a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver critical infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around planning, executing, and overseeing data center build/migration/consolidation and disaster recovery projects while collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors. Risk management, stakeholder management, and compliance with information security standards will also be key aspects of your role. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Masters preferred) along with certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL (preferred but not mandatory). You should have a proven track record of managing end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, hands-on experience with Data Center and Disaster Recovery projects, and a strong understanding of networking, storage, servers, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP). Your excellent project management skills, proficiency in tools like MS Project, Jira, or Asana, and familiarity with ITIL, PMP, or Prince2 methodologies will be essential for success in this role. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities will also be valuable assets as you lead DR drills, testing, and validation processes, monitor infrastructure performance metrics, and suggest improvements post-project. Compliance with information security and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001 and ITIL will be expected.
