Project Manager Corporate Projects & Management Initiatives - Fort

Role & responsibilities

The Project Manager will act as the central execution and coordination anchor for ongoing and new management-led initiatives across the organization. The role is responsible for driving cross-functional projects end-to-end, ensuring timely execution, structured follow-ups, data driven gap identification, and sustained outcomes.

This role will ensure that initiatives decided by the management team are translated into clear action plans, executed rigorously, tracked transparently, and closed effectively, rather than remaining as discussions or ideas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Functional Project Management

• Lead, manage and support adopting ongoing strategic and operational projects and excel sheets, including but not limited to:
• New Product Development (NPD) projects involving multiple departments
• Market expansion and product launch readiness initiatives
• Process improvement and standardization projects
• Documentation management across departments
• Clearly organised
• Version controlled
• Easily retrievable
• New process management
• Act as the single point of coordination across functions for assigned projects.
• Break down projects into:
• Clear tasks
• Owners
• Timelines
• Measurable deliverables

2. Governance, Meetings & Follow-Up

• Plan, run, and document weekly project review meetings such as but not limited to:
• NPD projects
• Management initiatives
• Cross-functional improvement programs
• Ensure meetings are outcome-driven, with:
• Clear agendas
• Decisions recorded
• Action items tracked to closure
• Maintain project trackers, action logs, and decision logs.
• Follow up rigorously with stakeholders to ensure commitments are met on time.

3. Data Analysis & Gap Identification

• Analyse project and process data to:
• Identify bottlenecks
• Highlight delays
• Surface cross-functional gaps
• Translate data insights into clear problem statements and action recommendations and proactively communicate them to management.
• Support management with structured, data-backed updates rather than anecdotal reporting.

4. Management Initiative Execution

• Act as the execution arm of the management team for new initiatives.
• Convert high-level management directions into:
• Clear execution plans
• Timelines
• Ownership structures
• Track implementation progress and escalate:
• Delays
• Dependencies
• Decision requirements
• Ensure initiatives are implemented fully and sustainably, not partially.

Key Deliverables

• Project charters and execution plans
• Weekly and monthly project status reports
• Centralised project trackers and dashboards
• Action item and decision logs
• Documented systems, templates, and process frameworks
• Clear closure reports for completed initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience Required: 4-8 years of experience in any of the following:
• Project management
• Business operations
• Consulting, PMO, or cross-functional roles
• CEOs office
• Exposure to pharma, manufacturing, or regulated environments preferred

• Skills / Competency Required:
• Excel and other project management tools
• Strong project management and coordination capability
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects
• High comfort with:
• Excel / trackers
• Data analysis
• Documentation structuring
• Ability to work seamlessly across departments
