Position Overview

Project Manager – Civil

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare detailed

    project execution plans

    , schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with

    design, procurement, and execution teams

    to align resources and timelines.
  • Define project milestones, allocate resources, and establish realistic completion targets.

2. Execution & Site Coordination

  • Supervise all civil works at the site, ensuring activities progress according to plan.
  • Conduct

    regular site inspections

    to monitor work quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth execution.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and guide site engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor performance to ensure alignment with project objectives.

4. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Maintain

    effective communication

    with clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

5. Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Implement and monitor

    quality control procedures

    to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Enforce

    safety protocols

    at the site and conduct regular toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.

6. Material & Vendor Management

  • Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for uninterrupted work flow.

7. Billing & Documentation

  • Verify measurements and ensure

    timely preparation of bills

    and payment requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, material usage, and labor deployment.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent project planning, scheduling, and execution abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
