Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager and Marine 4-Stroke Engine Specialist to become a valuable member of our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with marine 4-stroke engines. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing technical guidance to our vessel engineers, addressing engine-related issues, and supporting vessel managers with second-level assistance. Furthermore, you will be tasked with overseeing machinery retrofit projects. Your responsibilities will entail managing and executing a diverse range of projects, from retrofitting vessels to implementing innovative ideas for enhancing performance. You will actively participate in projects concerning machinery and hull, integrating new technologies and ensuring compliance with retrofit regulations. This position will involve occasional travel, necessitating your availability for global travel, contingent upon standard visa requirements for specific countries. Key Responsibilities: - Offer technical guidance and support to our fleet on marine 4-stroke auxiliary engine matters. - Identify and resolve technical challenges associated with marine 4-stroke engines. - Provide advice to vessel managers and engineers on second-level support and technical remedies. - Lead and supervise machinery retrofit projects to ensure timely and effective completion. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth integration of technical solutions. - Keep abreast of the latest advancements in marine engine technology and implement industry best practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or a related field. - Demonstrated expertise in marine 4-stroke auxiliary engines. - Proficient in troubleshooting and adept at problem-solving. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and perform under pressure. - Familiarity with machinery retrofit processes and protocols. Preferred Skills: - Prior experience in advising and supporting vessel managers and engineers. - Knowledge of the latest marine engine technologies and industry trends. - Background in project management.
