Description
As a Software Engineer at FCSD Tech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and project requirements. You will work with Agile Programming principles to deliver innovative software products for Ford Motor Company, Dealers, and Customers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining Mainframe COBOL & JCL for support and project requirements - Utilizing source code management tools like Endevor and GitHub - Performing application support tasks such as systems support, security/audit reviews, and maintenance - Assisting in troubleshooting the Mainframe environment and participating in production support/pager duty rotation - Collaborating effectively with Mainframe Engineering, DBA specialists, Product Managers, and business partners - Conducting unit and integration testing to ensure software quality Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - 8+ years of experience in mainframe development with expertise in COBOL (IMS), JCL, CA7, DB2, SQL, Teradata, and real-time and batch processing - 1 year of experience in Mainframe modernization - Familiarity with z/OS connect, SFTP, SOAP, REST APIs, and other methods for system-to-system communication and data exchange - 1 year of experience in Big Q - Proficiency in Agile Tools such as Jira, backlogs, iterations, and user stories Join FCSD Tech to contribute to the delivery of world-class software solutions for Ford Motor Company and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing seamless service experiences for customers and dealers globally.
