About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize advanced AI and machine-learning solutions for enterprise use cases. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong software development fundamentals, hands-on experience delivering production-grade AI solutions, and the ability to influence technical decisions and engineering standards.

You will take complex AI initiatives from prototype to production, build scalable and reliable AI services, and collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML solutions, generative AI applications, and agentic workflows.
• Lead complex AI use cases from prototyping through production deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, inference services, and scalable AI components.
• Improve model performance, reliability, latency, and scalability.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design reviews, code quality, and engineering standards.
• Develop maintainable, well-tested code and improve testing, deployment, and monitoring practices.
• Monitor production AI services, investigate issues, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with AI engineering, platform, data, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow security, privacy, and responsible AI practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on AI/ML development and production deployment.
• Strong programming, system design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with machine-learning frameworks, foundation-model APIs, generative AI, and AI agent workflows.
• Experience deploying and operating AI applications in production environments.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, feature engineering, inference services, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Ability to take technical ownership and guide engineering decisions without formal people-management responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a

  product-based organization

  , building and scaling software products.
• Education from a reputed engineering institution, alongside demonstrated technical capability and relevant experience.
• Experience with Anthropic or comparable foundation-model APIs and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with Databricks, vector databases, model evaluation, monitoring, and AI observability.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP or Salesforce.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions in complex or regulated environments.
