Project Installation Manager

Primary Purpose

The purpose of this role is to manage customer hardware installations and post installation support promoting speed, efficiency and quality of installs leading to a high level of customer satisfaction

and scalable business operations.

Role Responsibilities

Serve as Account Project Manager (and main point of contact) for customer teams and low voltage installation partners to ensure successful installation, calibration and activation of XY Sense

products in India;

• Travel to customer sites in India (and throughout SE Asia) to scope, oversee delivery and validate installations in the field.
• Generate quotations, project documentation and resourcing plans (materials and labour) based on agreed customer requirements for sensor installations.
• Identify, vet and manage agreements with subcontractors (low voltage installation partners) who meet relevant partnership criteria in the region.
• Oversee the successful delivery of installation projects from kick-off to client handover(Maintaining regular communication with customers and subcontractors, overseeing project documentation (technical drawings, cabling diagrams, project plans), managing deadlines, act as customer escalation point and quality control).
• Work with the dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of hardware for the project installation.
• Conduct installer training, provide QA support for installers throughout regional installations.
• Configure customer accounts on the XY Sense platform (following sensor installations) to enable client activation (and handover).
• Perform Quality Control checks for installation sites and ensure standards are met.
• Reconcile Contractor invoices with quotes to ensure agreed upon customer budget is met.
• Provide as needed technical hardware support; responding to support tickets in the region, attending Quarterly Business Reviews (alongside Customer Success team) to coordinate any onsite support that is required.
• Develop and maintain strong technical working knowledge of XY Sense product suite (IoT sensor hardware, cloud software, APIs, networking topology, etc) to act as technical SME for customers and installers (subcontractor teams).
• Maintain internal and external documentation including installation guides, technical support guides, and standard operating procedures.

Key Performance Indicators

• Meet customer satisfaction score of >8 for installation feedback
• Deliver installations within 30 days of agreed delivery date and at budget.

Attributes and Skills required

• Minimum 5 Years experience operating in a customer-facing and technology-focused project management role (PMP Certification preferred).
• Technical knowledge & skills in the following areas:

Familiarity with low voltage/ IoT hardware installations

AutoCAD

TCP/IP, Rf

PoE and other wiring standards

Ability to reproduce customer setups locally to troubleshoot

• Experience and skills managing subcontractors (Low voltage or enterprise AV/IT) with applicableknowledge of Indian Local Labor Regulations and Standards.
• Excellent communication skills. Should have strong command over the English (both written and verbal) with high level of professionalism during all customer and partner interactions.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and internal teams in India (and to other SE Asian countries i.e. Singapore, Hong Kong with advance notice provided).
• Intermediate computer skills (Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce) Internet, Email, Word Processing and Formatting, Spreadsheets, and Presentations)
• Possess leadership skills ( and proven track record of being self directed) to work in a global organization across time-zones, (with teams that are internal as well as with external contractor groups).

• A hands-on, team player with a proven ability to learn quickly, contribute new ideas, and create scalable processes.

it's a plus if you are:

• Graduate (BE/BTech/ in Electronics/ E & C/ Computers, BSC-IT/ BSC-Electronics/Dip./)
• PMP Certified
• AutoCAD certified
• Hold another relevant enterprise AV/IT certification (i.e Avixa/InfoComm)
