Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee water infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers to deliver complex and customized projects on time.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans outlining goals, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress using internal systems (ERP, Power BI Reports, Gantt charts) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintain clear communication channels among team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout project execution.
  • Oversee procurement activities, vendor selection, and contract management.
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate project status and gather feedback.
  • Prepare accurate project documentation, including reports, budgets, and technical specifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, Structural, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in successfully managing projects, including water infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with AS standards: AS 1170, AS1428, AS2156, and AS1657.
  • Ability to present products, services, and technical information professionally to clients.
  • Understanding Civil drawings and integration with Mechanical equipment would be an added advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand technical products.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, permits, and compliance standards in the water industry.
