Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1.Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

2.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.

3.Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

4.Analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process

5.Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specification

6.Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

7.Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.

8.Oversee budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, and report regularly to project manager on progress as well as on problems that could significantly affect cost or schedule.

9.Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures

10.Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards
