Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to lead and coordinate the design, execution, installation, and commissioning of process plants and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in delivering capital projects within the FMCG, Food, Beverage, Dairy, or Chemical sectors, ensuring timely completion, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Design Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to develop conceptual and detailed designs for process plants and manufacturing lines.
• Review and validate PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, GA drawings, and utility requirements. Coordinate with process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation teams during design and development stages. Project Execution Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contractor coordination for plant equipment and utilities.
• Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, safety protocols, and timelines. Conduct site surveys, layout finalization, equipment installation, and field modifications as necessary.
• Commissioning & Handover Lead commissioning, start-up, and performance validation of new installations.
• Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues during the commissioning phase. Ensure smooth transition to operations, including documentation and training.
• Project Management Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and cost control updates to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in

  Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or related discipline

  .
• 5 + years of experience in executing industrial projects in

  FMCG, Beverage, Food, Dairy.

• Strong knowledge of plant design, process equipment (e.g., tanks, heat exchangers, CIP/SIP systems), and utilities (steam, water, compressed air, HVAC).
• Proficient in project planning tools like MS Project or Primavera, and design tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with process safety, quality standards, and regulatory codes relevant to the sector. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel and manage projects at multiple sites.
