Project Engineer

Primary Competency & Key Responsibilities:

• Testing of Sensors, radars, etc. with PLCs
• On site supervision of erection, Installation & commissioning of eMeasurematics supplied equipment on Cranes, Transfer Cars, in steel mill Yard.
• Installation / maintenance / corrective / emergency maintenance visits at customer sites (all over India) for eMeasurematics products.
• Attending equipment breakdowns, professionally handle service calls, Troubleshooting of equipment & maintenance call to ensure proper system operation, report generation all resolving problem.
• Build, Develop & Sustain Customer relationships with effective Customer management and coordination with internal teams.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Track project progress and prepare reports for stakeholders and management.
• Identify potential issues and risks, propose mitigation strategies, and implement solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships, including RFQs, submittals, and approvals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
• Control panel designing

Technical Skill Requirements:

• Engineering Degree in electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or any combination
• Advance knowledge and selection of different sensors, IO cards, communication cards, Drive (VFD/DTC) system & its control.
• Understanding of Electrical schematics and GA drawings
• Knowledge of LAN/Wireless LAN
• Working knowledge of Networking configurations like configurations of Layer-3, layer-2 managed switches, firewalls, Vlans, Vlan interconnections, Ring configurations.
• Knowledge of soft documentation using MS office, Excel, Google docs & google sheets.
• Knowledge of PLC basics, programming, and troubleshooting preferably Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500)
• Working knowledge of Autocad-2D is must.
• Basic knowledge of ePlan Software for Electrical Schematics
• Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadline.

Working Conditions:

• Office and field/site-based work.
• Occasional travel to project sites or vendor locations.
• Ability to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines.
