Project Engineer

Position Title:

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering to join our project execution team.

preferably within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.

The role requires expertise in HVAC, mechanical systems, and automation, with working knowledge of CAD software for design and layout development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design, planning, and execution of engineering projects in pharma/bio pharma facilities.
• Prepare and review layout drawings, equipment specifications, P&IDs, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for HVAC, clean utilities, water systems, mechanical equipment, and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and other regulatory standards in all engineering deliverables.
• Work closely with vendors, contractors, and consultants for timely project execution.
• Perform technical evaluations, cost estimation, and assist in procurement processes.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of equipment and systems.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

• 4–8 years of experience in project engineering, design, and execution preferably in the pharma or biopharma industry.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, cleanroom design, utilities, mechanical equipment, and automation systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / CAD software for design and layout preparation (preferred).
• Knowledge of project management tools and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with cGMP regulatory requirements.
