KEY RESPONSIBILITY: Key responsibilities are developing High-end PLC programs, integration with drive, interfacing with other devices/PCs/Computing platforms using different communication means & protocol, optimizing system performance, integrating new technologies, and troubleshooting system issues. Job Description PLC Programming and Troubleshooting Develop, modify, and optimize PLC logic (LAD, FBD, SCL, etc.). Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and I/O-related issues. Maintain logic consistency across machines and ensure standardization. Machine Automation & Commissioning Oversee control system integration with drive & industrial machines. Validate sensor/actuator interfacing, safety systems, and communication protocols. Ensure successful installation, configuration, and testing of PLCs. Documentation & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) management Prepare and maintain PLC logic documentation, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and version control. Develop SOPs for machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Team Coordination & Support Supervise or assist junior engineers and technicians. Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams for smooth operation. Act as a liaison between production and automation design teams. Safety & Compliance Ensure machine safety interlocks are functional and meet standards. Conduct risk assessments for automation systems. Adhere to safety norms like ISO 13849, IEC 61508, etc. Process Improvement & Upgrades Identify automation opportunities to improve cycle time, accuracy, or energy efficiency. Evaluate and implement PLC upgrades or migrations (e.g., S7-300 to S7-1500). Analyze machine downtime and propose corrective actions. SCADA/HMI Integration Oversee development or modification of HMI/SCADA screens (WinCC, TIA Portal). Monitor data logging, alarms, and historical trends. Reporting & Analytics Generate regular reports on machine performance, downtime causes, and PLC error logs. Present findings and suggestions to senior management.

Primary Competency Install and configure software, networks and applications. Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults or hardware complications. Support the roll-out of new applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Troubleshoot software and identify root causes of software problems. Installation / maintenance / corrective / emergency maintenance visits at customer sites (all over India) for eMeasurematics products. Testing of different types of Sensors, radars and other electronic equipment, etc. with PLCs. Technical Skill Requirements Basic knowledge of Autocad-2D /EPLAN(Optional) Basic Knowledge of LAN/Wireless LAN and networking components Knowledge of PLC basics, programming, and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of Instrumentation/ electronics and control. Good Knowledge of RDBMS. Basic knowledge of Electrical schematics and GA drawings Understanding of Flow Charts, UMLs etc Good knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel.

Primary Competency Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios. Executing tests on software usability. Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team. Interacting with clients to understand product requirements. Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. > Additional Competency Technical Skill Requirements A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Good knowledge of both manual and automated testing. Strong familiarity with unit and integration testing. Having Basic knowledge of testing tools like Katalon, Jmeter, Mockito, Junit, TestNG, Selenium. Basic knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
