Job Description

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer - Design with 2 to 4 years of experience, demonstrating strong proficiency in Solidworks. This role requires specialized design expertise within the sheet metal or casting domain. Your primary responsibilities will involve utilizing Solidworks for the creation of detailed 3D models, assemblies, and associated 2D drawings for components specific to either sheet metal fabrication or casting processes. For sheet metal, you will be responsible for developing flat patterns, managing bend allowances, and designing features suitable for stamping or laser cutting. For casting, you will focus on designs that are optimized for moldability, including considerations for draft angles, core design, and machining allowances. You will ensure that designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet all specified engineering . Collaboration with manufacturing, analysis, and quality teams will be integral to this role, ensuring seamless transitions from design to production. Your ability to apply engineering principles to practical design challenges, coupled with your Solidworks expertise, will be crucial in delivering high-quality designs. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented designer eager to contribute to product development using industry-leading CAD software.
