About the Role:
TERI invites applications for the position of Project Engineer (Civil/Structural) to support the implementation of a critical Jarosite Capping Project in Debari, Udaipur. This project involves the environmental stabilization and safe capping of industrial byproduct ponds (Jarosite) to ensure long-term sustainability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review working drawings, site estimation, and material requirements for levelling and filling
• Verify supply of civil, polymeric, and electromechanical materials for capping
• Oversee removal and shifting of PVC liners from geo bags
• Conduct site surveys and measurements for levelling, contouring, and compaction processes
• Review gradient profiles as per contractor’s drawings
• Monitor installation of final cover layers on stabilized slurry ponds
• Provide regular progress reports to the TERI team
• Assist with any other civil engineering tasks as per the Terms of Reference (ToR)

Qualification:

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience:

6–8 years of experience in consultancy and/or supervision of civil projects, preferably involving filling and capping of Jarosite ponds

Salary: As per industry standards
