Position: Senior Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager Division: Sustainable Agriculture Programme Location: TERI-Gram, Gwalpahadi Salary: As per industry standards Position Overview: TERI’s Sustainable Agriculture Programme is seeking a dynamic and driven professional to join as Senior Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager . The role will focus on expanding market reach and client engagement for our AgriTech portfolio including bio-products and nano-products, while fostering strategic partnerships with industry and government stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Build and strengthen relationships with AgriTech companies, government officials, and agriculture industry professionals. Drive business development initiatives and customer engagement across India for AgriTech clients. Lead marketing, channel expansion, and strategic promotion of bio-products and nano-products. Develop and execute annual business plans for clients, and support product launches pan-India. Stay informed on product innovations and market trends via networking, industry events, and conferences. Ensure regulatory compliance and quality control (QC) for bioproducts, including FCO and CIB&RC regulations. Prepare technical reports, marketing materials, and support proposal development. Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Management, preferably in Agriculture and Allied fields from a reputed institution. MBA with strong business communication and technical acumen. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Hindi. Experience: 4+ years of experience in B2B sales and channel marketing, especially in the AgriTech sector. Prior experience in AgriTech industry, including engagement with start-ups and business innovation ecosystems. Skills : Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Corel Draw, and other design/presentation software. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project execution capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-cultural, interdisciplinary team. Exposure to scientific concepts of bio-products and fermentation-based AgriTech innovations is preferred.
