Job Details

Position:

Role Purpose

Manage engineering and execution of pump projects across petroleum, chemical, and food industries while ensuring technical compliance, timely delivery, and effective coordination with clients, internal teams, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and monitor pump project schedules from order receipt to commissioning.
Understand client specifications and ensure compliance with API, ISO, ASME, and food-grade standards.
Validate material selection (SS316L, duplex steel, sealing systems) for corrosive, hygienic, or hazardous applications.
Prepare GA drawings, datasheets, and inspection/test plans.
Coordinate with vendors for motors, seals, instrumentation, and long-lead components.
Support inspections and FAT as per industry standards and client requirements.
Identify technical and schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Experience & Skills

5–6 years of experience in pumps or rotating equipment projects (petroleum/chemical/food industries).
Knowledge of pump design, metallurgy, and mechanical seals.
Familiarity with API/ISO standards and hygienic design guidelines.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Project/Primavera, and ERP systems.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving ability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Exposure

Projects involving extreme temperature/pressure conditions.
Food-grade compliance (CIP/SIP standards).
Experience with digital document management systems.
Knowledge of inspection and testing protocols.
