Role Purpose:

Pump Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor pump project schedules from order receipt to commissioning.
  
• Interpret client specifications and ensure compliance with API, ISO, ASME, and food-grade standards.
  
• Validate material selection (e.g., SS316L, duplex steels) and sealing systems for corrosive, hygienic, or hazardous applications.
  
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, datasheets, and inspection/test plans.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for motors, seals, instrumentation, and long-lead components.
  
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications during inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  
• Identify technical and schedule risks; propose mitigation strategies.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.
  

Experience & Skills Required:

• 5 to 6 years of experience in pump or rotating equipment projects, specifically within the petroleum, chemical, or food processing sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of pump design, metallurgy, and mechanical seals.
  
• Strong familiarity with API/ISO standards and hygienic design requirements.
  

• Proficiency in Auto CAD/Solid Works, MS Project/Primavera, and ERP systems.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  

Preferred Exposure:

• Experience with projects involving extreme operating conditions (high temperature, pressure).
  
• Exposure to food-grade compliance (CIP/SIP standards).
  
• Familiarity with digital document management systems.
  
• Knowledge of inspection and testing protocols.
  

Additional Information:

• This is a

  12-month renewable contract (Off Role)

  , with an option for extension based on project requirements and performance.
