Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator and Community Health Counsellor to support our adolescent health and well-being initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing counseling, conducting educational sessions, and engaging in community outreach efforts. This role requires a motivated individual with strong communication skills and relevant expertise in social work, psychology, or rural development.

Key Responsibilities:

Adolescent Counseling & Health Education:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions on reproductive health, sexual health, mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, and overall well-being.
• Conduct educational sessions for adolescents and youth on healthy lifestyles, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Address psychosocial issues and promote positive behavioral changes among adolescents.

Community Outreach:

• Engage with local communities to raise awareness about health and well-being.
• Organize and participate in community-based initiatives, including health camps, school programs, and youth empowerment sessions.
• Mobilize adolescents and youth to attend counseling sessions and participate in health-related programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution in:
• M.S.W. (Master of Social Work)
• M.A. (Psychology)
• M.A. (Sociology)
• M.Sc. (Rural Development)
• A minimum of 55% marks is mandatory.
• Proficiency in computer science/information management, particularly in data entry, designing, and statistics, is required.

Essential Experience:

• Experience working at a collective level in government or non-government organizations, including reporting on government schemes.
• Only experience completed within the last three years will be considered valid.
• Internships or short-term project experience will not be considered.
• Strong proficiency in M.S. Excel and online reporting/data entry in internet-based systems is mandatory.

Preferred Experience:

• Candidates with experience working with institutions under the National Adolescent Health Program will be given preference.

Local Residency Requirement:

• Preference will be given to permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• Additional preference for candidates applying from their respective district of residence.

Mandatory Documents:

• Attested mark sheet of the required educational qualification.
• Experience certificate.
• Permanent residency certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
