Project Coordination Engineer (Techno-Commercial)

Role Purpose

The Project Coordination Engineer will support senior management in managing engineering coordination, purchase planning, production follow-ups, vendor management, and project execution. The role requires strong coordination, ownership, and timely follow-ups across multiple departments and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Coordination

• Coordinate with design teams for drawings, revisions, and approvals
• Maintain drawing issue register and revision control
• Ensure timely release of drawings for production and site execution

Project Planning & Monitoring

• Prepare and update project schedules, trackers, and MOMs
• Track planned vs actual progress and highlight deviations
• Ensure timely closure of action items across departments

Purchase & Vendor Coordination

• Prepare RFQs and collect vendor quotations
• Assist in technical & commercial comparison statements
• Follow up with vendors for PO execution, delivery schedules, and documents

Production & Site Coordination

• Coordinate with production planning for material availability
• Track fabrication / manufacturing progress
• Support site teams with drawings, materials, and clarifications

Communication & Reporting

• Prepare daily / weekly project status reports for management
• Coordinate meetings and circulate MOMs
• Proactively escalate risks, delays, and issues

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering
  • 1-2 years experience in engineering projects / manufacturing / industrial setup • Exposure to project coordination, procurement, and execution

Skills & Competencies

• Strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (trackers, planning) • Basic understanding of AutoCAD / drawings • Good email drafting and documentation skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
