Job Description

Role Overview: As a Finance Business Partner at the company, you will advise and support the business in various areas related to future state financial performance. This includes providing financial consulting and coaching, interpreting financial results, and offering forward-looking financial insight on market conditions and competitors. You will play a crucial role in improving the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision-making and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Support in strategy making and establishing measurable targets to achieve business goals - Evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions, build scenarios, and recommend actions - Provide input to the Execution Plan on financial aspects, prepare invoices, financial accounting, and reporting - Support in forecasting cash flow, oversee currency risk and tax issues - Participate in opportunity/risk identification and ensure timely implementation of required mitigation actions - Coordinate and prepare monthly project reviews, participate in preparing project cost reports, and verify the substance for cost to complete - Monitor progress achieved, provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making - Drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency - Manage and closely monitor cash flow, take action to improve Net Working Capital - Identify and communicate commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions - Execute risk review procedures and processes to minimize commercial and financial risks and exposure - Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures - Define and implement internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations - Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines, and support internal and external audits - Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant stakeholders to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency - Responsible for compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business Qualifications Required: - Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects/challenges, often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions - Comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines in the organization - Ability to work independently, applying established standards, and instructing or coaching other professionals (Note: Additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description),
