Project Assistant

Applications are invited for the post of project assistant (1 nos.) in the field of Quantum Materials and Devices funded by National Quantum Mission (NQM) at IIT Kanpur.

Essential Qualification: B.Sc./ 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology

Desirable Skills

• Experience in working in an experimental laboratory with a high preference for optics laboratory.
• Experience in purchases in central government institute.
• Experience in nanofabrication with high preference for electron beam lithography.
• Experience in coding with Python for interfacing.

Job Profile

• Candidate will be responsible for laboratory preparation work for installation of equipment.
• Candidate will be responsible for paperwork for purchase related to the project.
• Candidate will be expected to undertake research work to assist PI in the project activities.
• Documentation.

Consolidated Salary: INR 20000 + 18% HRA per month.

Nature of Position: Temporary / Contractual.

Duration of appointment: The appointment is for 1 year.
