Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake field visits/ conduct interviews to collect qualitative and quantitative data from farmers and local stakeholders
• Collect, collate, and analyse primary and secondary data on local weather/climate and agriculture using data collection tools created by W-CReS.
• Documenting findings, Report writing, Writing blogs, etc.
• Collaborate with the field team and attend regular review meetings/trainings/Farmer Field Schools, etc.

Eligibility:

• Freshers with a Graduate/ Postgraduate degree in environmental science, agriculture, climate and sustainability studies, social sciences, and related disciplines.
• Freshers from other disciplines with a strong interest in climate change/sustainability/rural development/agriculture are also encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with a minimum of one year of experience are eligible to apply.
• Candidate should have a basic understanding of data collection tools and proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of R and Python will be considered an added advantage.
• Good verbal and writing skills in English and Hindi are essential. Additional knowledge of other regional languages, such as Marathi/Telugu/Odia/Kannada, will be preferred.
• Candidates willing to travel to field locations and work in rural settings (as required) will be given preference.
