Programme Officer – Project Nanhi Kali

About the Project:

Nanhi Kali is a project in girl child education jointly run by KC Mahindra Education Trust and Naandi Foundation. The project aims to support girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through 10 years of schooling.

Job Requirements:

Project Nanhi Kali relies on an entire ecosystem of partners to keep the project running; State, district and mandal education officers, head masters, teachers, parents, tutors and the extended communities we aim to serve. Programme officer is therefore someone who must excel at networking and have excellent local language skills (Odiya, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi, Konkani , Gujarati as per given locations).

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:

• We are looking for people with prior work experience; a minimum of 5 years for program officers.
• Prior experience in the social sector and in the education sector are a plus, but not essential.
• What is essential is a deep interest in the impact sector, an ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.

Job Type: Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
