Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedSoftware Program Managerwith a background in the automotive industry and expertise in Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. Knowledge ofHIL/SIL, ISO 26262(Functional Safety),Jira, andGitHubis highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects in the automotive domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Agile Implementation:

• Drive Agile practices and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) across cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure continuous improvement by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the development process.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, and customers.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans effectively to all stakeholders.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, particularlyISO 26262for functional safety.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Tool Proficiency:

• UtilizeJirafor project tracking, backlog management, and reporting.
• LeverageGitHubfor version control, code reviews, and collaboration.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Overall 10years of experience in which 5+ years of experience in software project/program management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience with automotive embedded systems and software.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.).
• Familiarity withISO26262and its application in automotive software development.
• Experience with version control systems likeGitHub.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive software development processes and tools.

Good-to-Have:

Certification in Agile(e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of other automotive standards like AUTOSAR, ASPICE, etc.

Working knowledge with HIL/SIL
