Key Responsibilities

1. Program and Release Management:

• Define and manage release cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines. 
• Oversee sprint planning, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time delivery of objectives. 
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

2. KPI Definition and Monitoring:

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of R&D programs and releases. 
• Track team performance against defined KPIs, ensuring progress and identifying areas for improvement. 

3. Auditing and Reporting:

• Conduct regular audits of team activities and progress to ensure adherence to sprint and release plans. 
• Organize and lead weekly and monthly reviews to assess progress, address blockers, and recalibrate goals as needed. 
• Compile and distribute detailed reports on program progress, accomplishments, and misses to leadership and relevant stakeholders. 

4. Governance and Administration:

• Serve as the governance and administration expert for Jira and Confluence, ensuring optimal setup, usage, and maintenance. 
• Provide guidance to the team on leveraging these tools effectively for project management and collaboration. 
• Maintain and refine workflows, boards, and dashboards to enhance visibility and tracking across projects.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

• Facilitate communication between R&D teams, leadership, and other departments to ensure alignment and transparency. 
• Act as a central point of contact for program updates, risks, and escalations. 

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Regularly assess and refine program management processes to improve efficiency and outcomes. 
• Encourage a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence within the R&D team. 

Other Information

Qualification & Skills •

• 5-10 years of experience in program management, with a focus on R&D or technology teams. • Proficiency in using and administering Jira and Confluence, with expertise in customizing workflows, dashboards, and reports. 
• Strong experience in managing release cycles, sprints, and agile methodologies. 
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely. 
• Proven ability to conduct audits, set KPIs, and track performance effectively. 
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, or equivalent; PMP or Agile certification is a plus).
