Job Description

Role Overview: As a Program Engineer at our company, you will be the technical lead for one or more projects throughout the entire Product Development Cycle (PDC) until the end of production (EOP). Key Responsibilities: - Take responsibility for all technical aspects from the beginning of the project (Phase 1) through gate 7 to the end of production (EOP), including: - Fulfilling customer requirement book - Providing technical guidance and supervision to internal and external resources within business groups - Ensuring correct technical documentation (e.g., sourcing matrix) and presenting to customers and project teams - Ensuring manufacturability of the product - Ensuring quality of prototypes and samples Duties: - Lead all technical activities of the project team - Lead the project team functionally - Guide all activities to meet the customer requirement book - Define and approve technical development steps for internal and external suppliers (Stand Sourcing Matrix) - Ensure that the quality and technical content of customer prototypes and validation samples align with the development status - Act as the primary technical contact for customers, manufacturing, competence center, prototype manager, and purchasing - Manage technical documentation within the development process - Support the project leader with customer service and project management - Assist the project leader in acquiring new projects - Implement technical changes even after the start of production (SOP) Qualification Required: - Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Several years of experience as a development engineer and/or designer in the exhaust business - Ability to have a comprehensive overview of technical issues - Organizational skills, pragmatism, independence, and integrated cautiousness - Fluent in spoken and written English (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.),
