The Program Engineer is responsible for leading the technical aspects of one or more projects throughout the Product Development Cycle (PDC) until the end of production (EOP). You will be accountable for various technical tasks starting from the beginning of the project to the end of production, including meeting customer requirements, providing technical guidance to internal and external resources, ensuring correct technical documentation, assessing manufacturability of the product, and maintaining quality standards for prototypes and samples. Your duties will involve leading all technical activities of the project team, steering the team's functions, ensuring the fulfillment of customer requirements, defining and approving technical development steps for suppliers, overseeing the quality of prototypes and validation samples, acting as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, managing technical documentation, supporting project leaders in customer service and project management, aiding in the acquisition of new projects, and implementing technical changes even after the start of production. To qualify for this role, you must have an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with several years of experience as a development engineer and/or designer in the exhaust business. You should possess the ability to oversee technical issues collectively, strong organizational skills, a pragmatic and independent approach, and fluency in spoken and written English. Our fulfillment process prioritizes precision, coordination, and care across all stakeholders involved. As we are in the early stages of our journey and expanding across cities and product lines, we are seeking passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to the creation of something new, bold, and enduring. In this role, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the entire design development lifecycle, with a specialization in rings as a product category. From strategizing to creation, to placement in the studio, and post-launch analysis, you will gain comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience. During your initial year, you will be involved in executing high-volume design rollouts, handling approximately 1000-3000 SKUs per month. This will provide you with exposure to every aspect of product creation and deployment, allowing you to build a strong foundation in this field. Based on your performance, you will progress to contribute to the strategic planning of design development for our upcoming phase, which includes scaling up to 20 stores, flagship launches, unique annual concepts, and brand-defining design events. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Jewellery Development Manager to support new product development research, defining aesthetics for visual merchandising, coordinating prototype orders, conducting quality checks, and ensuring timely deployment to studios according to the visual merchandising strategy. You will also manage the entire cycle from concept to studio placement for around 500-1000 designs per month. This role is suitable for freshers or early professionals with a background in Jewellery Design, Engineering, BBA, or MBA. The location for this position is in Borivali, Mumbai, and it is a full-time office-based role.,
