Job Description

The Program Engineer is responsible for leading the technical aspects of one or more projects throughout the Product Development Cycle (PDC) until the end of production (EOP). You will be accountable for various technical tasks starting from the beginning of the project to the end of production, including meeting customer requirements, providing technical guidance to internal and external resources, ensuring correct technical documentation, assessing manufacturability of the product, and maintaining quality standards for prototypes and samples. Your duties will involve leading all technical activities of the project team, steering the team's functions, ensuring the fulfillment of customer requirements, defining and approving technical development steps for suppliers, overseeing the quality of prototypes and validation samples, acting as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, managing technical documentation, supporting project leaders in customer service and project management, aiding in the acquisition of new projects, and implementing technical changes even after the start of production. To qualify for this role, you must have an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with several years of experience as a development engineer and/or designer in the exhaust business. You should possess the ability to oversee technical issues collectively, strong organizational skills, a pragmatic and independent approach, and fluency in spoken and written English.
