Program Associate- Aspiring Teacher Program

Role Overview: You will be working as a Project Associate at The Akanksha Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and young adults from underserved communities. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the Teacher Apprentice Program, aimed at developing aspiring teacher candidates, particularly Akanksha alumni, into effective teachers. This program involves a 4 to 12 month immersion in school and classroom training to prepare high-potential alumni for teaching roles within Akanksha. Key Responsibilities: - Recruitment & Selection (20%) - Execute recruitment and matriculation spaces to generate awareness and interest in the program. - Implement selection processes to identify ideal participants. - Training & Coaching (40%) - Conduct residential onboarding and ongoing training sessions. - Observe participants, provide feedback, and offer coaching. - Adapt training programs based on observations to ensure participants meet desired benchmarks. - Assist in training and program design as required. - Operations (40%) - Plan and manage operations and logistics for residential onboarding and ongoing training in collaboration with the Program Associate. - Coordinate with school leaders to ensure a seamless experience for participants in schools and gather feedback. - Provide support to HR and Finance departments regarding participant requirements. Qualifications Required: - Deep belief and commitment to Akanksha's vision and mission. - 1-3 years of relevant experience. - Organized, entrepreneurial, creative, and possess strong people skills. - Previous training, design, or coaching experience is advantageous. - Prior teaching experience is preferred.,
