Professor - Psychology

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

• Deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in various areas of psychology, including but not limited to cognitive, developmental, clinical, social, or experimental psychology.
  
• Develop and update course materials to reflect current research and practices.
  
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
  
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
  

Research and Scholarship:

• Conduct original research in the field of psychology and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
  
• Seek external funding and grants to support research activities.
  
• Present research at national and international conferences.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the university on interdisciplinary projects.
  

Service:

• Participate in departmental committees, faculty meetings, and university service initiatives.
  
• Engage in community outreach and professional activities to enhance the universitys reputation.
  
• Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.
  

Professional Development:

• Stay current with advances in psychology through continuous learning and participation in professional organizations.
  
• Engage in activities that promote teaching excellence and research innovation.
  

Qualifications:

Required:

• Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
  
• A solid record of research and scholarly publications.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
