Professor - Psychology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychology Professor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in psychology, conducting scholarly research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic community through service and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a range of undergraduate and/or graduate psychology courses (e.g., Introduction to Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Research Methods).
• Develop and update course syllabi, lectures, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct original research in the field of psychology and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, or dissertations.
• Advise and mentor students on academic and career goals.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and assessment efforts.
• Contribute to faculty governance and university service committees.
• Engage in community outreach or collaborative projects as appropriate.
• Apply for research grants and participate in academic conferences.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Strong record of scholarly publications and externally funded research.
• Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching and curriculum development.
• Proven experience mentoring students at undergraduate, master’s, and/or doctoral levels.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and scholarship.
