Professor Anesthesiology

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: MD/DNB in Anesthesia from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
• Minimum 8 years post-PG experience.
• At least 3 years as Associate Professor in a recognized medical college.
• Research Publications:
• Minimum 4 original research publications, with at least 2 as Associate Professor, in indexed journals (e.g., PubMed, Scopus, Medline).
• Training Requirements:
• Completion of Basic Course in Medical Education Technology.
• Completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research from NMC-designated institutions.
  

Teaching Responsibilities

• Train undergraduate and postgraduate students in ENT.
• Guide thesis and research projects.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic audits.
  

Clinical & Academic Competencies

• Diagnose and manage ENT conditions using current best practices.
• Perform surgeries and procedures relevant to ENT.
• Stay updated with recent advances like endoscopic sinus surgery, cochlear implants, and phonosurgery.
• Contribute to National Health Programs related to ENT.
  

Research & Development

• Lead and participate in research projects.
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentor junior faculty in research methodology.
