Production Support Analyst

As an Apps Support Sr Supervisor at our company, you will provide leadership and supervisory responsibility for medium-sized operational/administrative team(s) of clerical/support employees. You should have a good understanding of procedures and concepts within your own technical/subject area and a basic knowledge of other areas to comprehend how they relate to your area. It is important to understand how your team and area integrate with others to achieve the objectives of the subfunction/job family. You will be responsible for improving process efficiencies in support of unit objectives. While dealing with variable issues with potentially broader business impact, you will influence decisions through advice, counsel, facilitating services to others, or through joint accountability for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results. You will have full supervisory responsibilities, including duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities. **Responsibilities:** - Ensuring resource gaps are addressed as a priority to avoid business service disruption - Performing damage risk assessments, testing, and evaluation of changes to applications and their operating environments to maintain quality - Utilizing good understanding of procedures and concepts within apps development and basic knowledge of other technical areas - Improving process efficiencies in support of unit objectives and recommending new work procedures - Applying basic understanding of how your area integrates within apps support - Making evaluative judgments to solve problems based on analysis of factual information - Resolving problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents - Ensuring the quality of tasks provided by self and others on the team - Exchanging ideas and information in a concise and logical manner with tact and sensitivity to audience diversity - Impacting the team and closely related work teams by influencing decisions through advice or facilitating services, and being accountable for end results - Managing responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval - Performing other duties and functions as assigned **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of experience in application support - Consistently demonstrating clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Good experience in SQL, Unix - Banking experience is a plus - Basic to intermediate level experience in an Apps Support role with previous people management experience If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.
