Location: Chakan, Pune
Experience Required: 3 to 4 years
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Manufacturing (Formwork experience – maximum 1 year in current role)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage daily production operations at our manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production processes, team supervision, and shop floor management, preferably from a core manufacturing environment. Candidates with a maximum of 1 year of experience in the formwork industry (in the current role only) will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily targets.
• Lead a team of operators and technicians on the shop floor.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machines, materials).
• Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor production schedules, resolve issues, and report deviations.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and shift activities.
• Ensure timely communication with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and Stores.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience:
• 3 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Proven experience in supervising production teams.
• Maximum 1 year of experience in the formwork industry (current role only).
• Education:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of production processes and machinery.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
