Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor in the jewelry industry, you will be responsible for supervising, motivating, and mentoring a team of production staff. Your role will involve overseeing setters, polishers, and technicians to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in coordinating production schedules, prioritizing tasks, and effectively allocating resources to meet production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Implementing rigorous quality control measures throughout the production process will be essential to ensure that all jewelry pieces meet the company's exacting standards for design, precision, and finish. Additionally, you will be required to oversee inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and finished goods by liaising with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment. Providing ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to team members will also be a crucial aspect of your role. To excel in this position, you should have at least 2+ years of proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the jewelry industry or a similar manufacturing environment. Being computer-savvy and possessing excellent knowledge of Excel will be necessary for effectively managing production processes. In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, techniques, and materials, as well as familiarity with safety regulations and protocols within a manufacturing setting, will be beneficial for your success in this role. This is a full-time, permanent position that involves working day shifts. The ideal candidate should have a total of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a similar industry.
