Position: Production Supervisor Educational Qualification: BE/B Tech Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. Job Description: A Production Supervisor monitors the actual production flow in the shop. He is taking care of work distribution, Plan Vs. Actual, 5S, Safety of workplace. Apart from this he has to coordinate with all the supporting departments for getting the work done in the shop as per plan. Responsibilities: Preparing the Shift Schedule as per the week wise work load and ensure proper rotation of shifts among workforce. Conduct the shift opening meeting and communicate the daily plan to workforce at each station. Monitoring the progress of work at each work station and resolving the issues. AS9100, NADCAP and QMS: Facing audits and closure of observations/NCRs by providing proper evidences. Continuous improvement: Well versed with Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, CT reduction, material optimization, cost reduction, Flow Time reduction. Reading & understanding of Assembly drawing. GD &T symbols, specifications and various technical documents required for manufacturing. Understanding of various categories of Assembly Fixtures & their qualification and maintenance aspects. Well versed in various assembly processes with sealants, fasteners, riveting, welding etc. Having implementation knowledge of 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, OEE. Coordinating with PPC, Maintenance, Quality and Stores for resolution of daily issues and ensuring smooth work flow in shop.
