The Geospatial Services Production Manager is responsible for
overseeing the production and delivery of a variety of geospatial projects, including photogrammetry, LiDAR, and Ortho imaging. This role involves project planning, estimation, and management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
1. Project Management and Planning:
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with client
requirements and business objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute projects effectively.
2. Production Oversight:
- Oversee the production process for photogrammetry, LiDAR, and Ortho imaging projects.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
3. Estimation and Budgeting:
- Create detailed project estimates, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgeting.
- Monitor project budgets and adjust plans as necessary to meet financial objectives.
4. Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of geospatial professionals.
- Foster a collaborative environment and ensure staff development and training.
5. Client Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on project-related matters.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and proactive
issue resolution.
6. Technology and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in geospatial services.
- Recommend and implement new technologies and processes to improve service delivery.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the quality assurance process for all geospatial services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master s degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Engineering, or
related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geospatial services, with specific expertise
in photogrammetry, LiDAR, and Ortho imaging.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of geospatial software and technologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Work Environment:
- This position may require occasional travel to project sites or client meetings.
- The role involves a mix of office work and field visits.
