Test Pilot ( UAV ) Professional

Responsibilities: Flight Testing: Conduct flight tests for multicopters and VTOL fixed-wing UAVs to assess their stability, performance, and mission capability in real-world conditions. Mission Planning & Execution: Use Mission Planner and QGroundControl (QGCS) to configure flight plans, monitor UAV performance during missions, and fine-tune flight parameters as necessary. Data Collection & Analysis: Collect detailed flight data and logs to assess system performance. Identify and report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or areas for improvement. System Evaluation: Test new UAV systems and configurations, including the Cube Orange-based flight controllers, to verify performance against specifications and standards. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to flight controllers, sensors, ESCs, and other UAV subsystems. Safety Protocols: Ensure safe flight operations by adhering to established safety protocols, providing real-time feedback on potential hazards or performance anomalies during test flights. Reporting: Document flight tests, outcomes, and recommendations for system improvements or adjustments. Provide feedback for optimization of UAV systems based on field experience. Collaboration: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to provide hands-on insights into UAV flight performance and assist in the refinement of UAV systems.

Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree/diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related fields). Freshers or candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience in UAV systems engineering are encouraged to apply.Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Cube Orange flight controller setup and configuration. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a test pilot for multicopters and VTOL fixed-wing UAVs. Proven experience with Cube Orange flight controllers and understanding of UAV flight control systems. Strong knowledge and experience with Mission Planner and QGroundControl (QGCS) for mission planning and in-flight diagnostics.Technical Skills: Expertise in flying and testing multicopter and VTOL systems. Solid understanding of UAV components, including flight controllers, GPS, sensors, and actuators. Ability to interpret flight logs and telemetry data to diagnose and optimize UAV systems. Familiarity with MAVLink communication protocols and ground station software. Proficient in pre-flight setup, calibration, and post-flight analysis.

Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills to provide clear feedback to engineers and the development team. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in critical situations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with autonomous flight modes and UAV mission planning. Knowledge of radio communication systems used for UAV control. Familiarity with simulation tools for testing and validating flight behavior. Previous experience in UAV development or engineering roles is a plus.
