Production & Project Manager

You will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of world-class exhibitions, museum-style displays, and special art projects at Ashvitas Fine Art & Collectibles. Your role will involve acting as a bridge between curators, designers, vendors, and the operations team to ensure that every project reflects Ashvitas" commitment to quality, precision, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the production and execution of exhibitions, museum setups, and art projects - Collaborate with curators, designers, vendors, and operations team to ensure seamless project delivery - Oversee budget management, schedules, and stakeholder communication - Utilize AutoCAD and design/production software for project planning - Demonstrate proficiency in architectural drawings, lighting, and spatial planning - Employ strong vendor management and negotiation skills - Lead with excellent communication and leadership abilities - Travel for art fairs and projects as required Qualifications Required: - 8-10 years of experience in exhibition production, museum setups, interior design, or large-scale event/project management - Proficiency in AutoCAD and design/production software - Strong understanding of architectural drawings, lighting, and spatial planning - Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, schedules, and stakeholders - Strong vendor management and negotiation skills - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Based in Chennai with the ability to travel for art fairs and projects About Ashvita's Fine Art Collectibles: Established in 2002 by Ashvin E. Rajagopalan, Ashvitas is a diversified art business specializing in Indian Art and collectibles. They conduct museum-quality exhibitions, operate an online auction house, and provide various art services such as acquisitions, valuation, conservation, and display logistics. Ashvitas collaborates with individual collectors, corporate collections, and institutions, offering cultural programming, events, and educational activities. Please note: The vetting process for this role involves 2-3 rounds of interviews and a brief assignment. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chennai.
