Production Planning Control

As a Production Planning Control specialist at Isha Foundation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective production operations. Your responsibilities will include: Production Planning: - Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales and operational needs. - Forecast raw material, packaging, and labor requirements based on sales trends and inventory levels. - Monitor capacity planning to optimize throughput and prevent bottlenecks. Material Planning and Coordination: - Calculate and communicate detailed material requirements to the procurement team. - Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials. - Proactively address delays or shortages by following up with vendors. Inventory Planning and Management: - Maintain optimal levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products. - Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. - Analyze inventory turnover rates and implement optimization strategies. Production Control: - Track production progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions. - Ensure real-time updates of production performance metrics. - Coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce unplanned downtime. MIS Reporting and Data Analytics: - Generate accurate and timely MIS reports using ERP systems. - Analyze plant performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Prepare dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making. Resource Management: - Optimize manpower, equipment, and material utilization. - Align resources with budgetary constraints and operational goals. - Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product compliance. Process Improvement: - Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities. - Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance and Audits: - Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of production and inventory activities. - Conduct internal audits to ensure data accuracy and policy adherence.
