Production Planning and Control

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Contract review of all received PO. Comparing the feasibility study done during RFQ stage and fine tune in case of any anomalies.

2. Risk assessment of all received PO. Also comparing the risk assessment done during RFQ stage and follow up of mitigating planned.

3. Developing required vendor base to a required capacity and also developing vendors where in-house capability is lacking.

4. Provide the support in the cost calculation of all the projects during RFQ as well as during execution stages.

5. Preparing detailed project plans for all the projects and monitoring its execution.

6. Capturing the time variance between estimated and actual in live and initiating actions for resolving.

7. Identifying the non-value-added activities during execution, discuss with concerned and initiating actions for reducing the NVA

8. Evaluating capacity of VMCs, CNC lathes and other machines and escalate the constraints.

9. Releasing three month rolling plan and monitoring the status of orders as per agreed customer requirements

10. Tracking of dispatches and follow up on order completion.

11. Monitoring corrective actions of customer complaints and process complaints.

12. Coordinate with the team for smooth customer relations with regard to customer part status and delivery.

13. Updating and sending the PO status to all customers on agreed periodicity.

14. Conducting daily production meeting and update the status wherever constraints and potential delays are observed.

15. Monitoring, reviewing and implementation of laid out QMS procedures.

16. Data capturing for KPIs and initiating corrective actions in case of any deviation.

17. Measuring Plan Vs Actual week wise and initiating correcting actions for achieving 100%.

18. Follow up of projects at various stages of processing and removing the bottle necks by coordinating with production.

19. Coordinating with other departments for resolving day to day issues if any.

20. Coordinating with customer for arranging the materials, drawings, gauges and resolving issues if any on a regular basis.

21. Follow up with vendors for issues related to technical, documentation, etc. and bringing the finished parts on time.
