Job Description

Role & responsibilities Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders. Coordinate with the Purchase and Store departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Monitor actual production against the planned schedule and resolve bottlenecks. Track work-in-progress (WIP), analyze production efficiency, and generate daily production reports. Update BOMs (Bill of Materials), routings, and work orders in ERP or production software. Manage production priorities and ensure on-time delivery. Collaborate with QC, Production, and Dispatch teams to maintain smooth operations. Identify capacity constraints and suggest improvements in manpower, machines, or materials. Assist in inventory control, raw material usage analysis, and wastage reduction. Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and shop floor control. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.). Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials (especially in battery or EV assembly industries). Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
