Production Officer

As a Biscuit Production Supervisor at Britannia Industries, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure the mixing, cutting, baking, and quality parameters of biscuits are met according to the recipe and quality standards. Your role involves managing manpower, handling machines, and maintaining production efficiency. Your main responsibilities include raising indents based on the production plan, deploying workmen to stations, overseeing changeovers, inspecting mixing machines, conducting sample checks, and adjusting operating parameters as needed. You will also be responsible for checking machine availability, validating cutter settings, ensuring cleanliness, and synchronizing processes during changeovers. In addition, you will be required to monitor process parameters such as baking profiles, burner conditions, and oil spray effectiveness, while ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed. It is crucial to maintain consistency in product shape, weight, gauge, and appearance by adjusting process settings as necessary. As a Biscuit Production Supervisor, you will be expected to analyze breakdowns, communicate with the maintenance team, oversee repairs, and minimize machine downtime to prevent production losses. You will also be responsible for segregating biscuits for recycling, analyzing quality complaints, and implementing corrective actions to meet quality standards. Furthermore, your role involves participating in quality audits, performance management discussions, learning and development activities, equipment and process upgrades, consumer complaint handling, and review meetings as required.
