Production Merchandiser

About Us:
At A La Mode, we are a growing fashion brand with a strong focus on contemporary women’s wear across the PAN India market. We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Production Merchandiser to join our team and manage end-to-end merchandising operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of merchandising in coordination with senior management.
• Manage merchandising for in-house private labels – including purchase orders, barcoding, and uploading product data and images to internal systems.
• Coordinate delivery timelines and process order returns from stores.
• Oversee garment alterations received from retail outlets.
• Manage stock distribution and replenishment across stores.
• Resolve supply chain and production-related issues promptly.
• Track sales performance of products and store teams.
• Prepare weekly stock and sales performance reports for senior leadership.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising, collect team feedback, and monitor customer service quality.
• Train store staff on new products and designs.
• Organize team engagement activities at stores bi-monthly.
• Collect periodic inventory reports from store locations.
• Manage inventory and order processing for the e-store.
• Respond to online inquiries and social media DMs.
• Coordinate product availability for marketing and ad campaigns.
• Follow up regularly with store managers for updates and reporting.
• Create weekly visual merchandising presentations using store images.
• Liaise with the window display vendor monthly.
• Maintain stock of brand stationery, packaging, display accessories, and other in-store materials.
• Ensure timely weekly store stock replenishments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2–4 years of merchandising experience (women’s wear preferred)
• Strong understanding of the retail fashion market in India
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and reporting abilities
• Comfortable with both in-store and digital merchandising operations
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
