Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our integrated factory that produces sweets, karam (savoury items), and bakery products . The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, maintaining productivity, managing staff, and coordinating logistics to supply 8+ retail branches. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end production of sweets, savouries, and bakery products. Plan daily/weekly production schedules to meet branch demand. Ensure quality control and hygiene standards as per FSSAI regulations. Monitor and manage raw material usage, wastage , and inventory . Supervise and manage production teams including masters, helpers, and shift workers . Work closely with dispatch/logistics to ensure timely delivery to all branches. Coordinate with HR for staffing, shift allocation, leave management, and performance tracking. Maintain factory equipment and report maintenance needs proactively. Introduce and implement process improvements for better efficiency and cost control. Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and discipline . Minimum : 3–5 years in food manufacturing or sweet/snack production Preferred : Experience in managing traditional Indian sweets, bakery, or savories Previously handled a medium/large-scale kitchen or sweet production facility Experience with seasonal demand planning (Diwali, Pongal, etc.) Familiarity with hygiene, FSSAI standards, and shelf-life maintenance Key Skills & Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day production of sweets, cakes, and savories Plan production based on online and offline orders Coordinate with raw material suppliers and store managers Supervise kitchen/production staff, ensure quality control Maintain hygiene, food safety, and timely dispatch Handle inventory, wastage reduction, and improve efficiency Report to management daily (Tirupur HO) Who is Suitable? Allocate work based on shifts and production plans. Conduct regular team meetings and feedback sessions. Qualifications & Skills: Degree/Diploma in Food Technology / Hotel Management / Production Management or equivalent. Strong experience in sweet, bakery, and/or savoury production (traditional and modern). Knowledge of inventory control, staff management , and food safety standards . Excellent leadership, communication , and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high-volume production under time constraints.
