Production incharge/ Production engineer

In-charge – Production

Location: Gurgaon

Salary: Up to ₹50,000 per month (based on experience)
Industry Preference: Retail Furniture Fixture / Modular Furniture / Furniture Manufacturing

Education Qualification

• B.Tech / Diploma / Graduate (preferred in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage night shift production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely output.
• Monitor furniture manufacturing & sheet metal fabrication processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Efficiently allocate, guide, and handle manpower across different production sections.
• Ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are met without compromise.
• Maintain discipline, safety standards, and housekeeping in the shop floor.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to keep machines & tools in good working condition.

Reporting Responsibilities

• Report To: Production Manager / Plant Head.
• Daily Reporting:
• Night shift production output (planned vs actual).
• Attendance and deployment of manpower.
• Material consumption and shortages.
• Quality issues and rejections.
• Downtime and machine breakdown reports.
• Weekly Reporting:
• Shift-wise productivity analysis.
• Manpower performance & efficiency.
• Improvement suggestions for process optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing (preferably in Furniture / Modular Furniture / Sheet Metal Fabrication).
• Strong leadership & manpower management skills.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with a problem-solving attitude.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and safety practices will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
