Production Head

Polymer-Modified Bitumen (PMB)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management

• Oversee daily production activities across all 3 plants, ensuring planned output, quality, and cost targets are achieved.
  
• Develop and execute production schedules aligned with business demand and delivery timelines.
  
• Optimize production parameters for maximum yield, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
  
• Monitor and ensure consistency in process and product across all plants.
  

2. Quality & Process Control

• Ensure adherence to relevant standards (BIS / ASTM / IRC) for PMB and Emulsion production.
  
• Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain stringent quality control and process discipline.
  
• Conduct process audits, troubleshoot deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  

3. Operations & Maintenance

• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  
• Monitor and improve equipment utilization, energy efficiency, and production KPIs.
  
• Drive initiatives for plant modernization, capacity enhancement, and process automation.
  

4. People Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop plant managers, engineers, and production teams across all sites.
  
• Foster a performance-driven, safety-conscious, and collaborative work culture.
  
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training for staff development.
  

5. Supply Chain & Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of bitumen, polymers, emulsifiers, wire mesh materials, etc.
  
• Maintain optimum raw material and finished goods inventory.
  
• Collaborate with logistics for efficient dispatch and delivery.
  

6. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and statutory environmental regulations.
  
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and promote safe work practices.
  
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies as required.
  

7. Strategic & Cost Management

• Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and energy usage.
  
• Contribute to annual budgeting and capex planning.
  
• Identify and implement process improvement projects and cost-saving measures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Petrochemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
  
• MBA / PGDM in Operations or Industrial Management (preferred).
  

• Experience:

• 10 to15 years

  of experience in production/plant management in the

  Bitumen, PMB, emulsion, or construction materials

  industry.
• Minimum

  5 years

  in a senior leadership role handling

  multiple manufacturing sites

  .
• Hands-on exposure to

  PMB process control, emulsion formulations, and gabion manufacturing operations

  .
